A Third Chance

Life is certainly anything but boring.

In 1986 my first serious health crisis began.  With a newborn son in Calgary our lives took quite a sudden change of direction. After a long struggle I survived a deep vein thrombosis and a pulmonary embolism. It seemed clear I was given a second chance.

I thought I understood illness and struggle, and to some degree I did but in 2013 my health took a dramatic turn.

An even bigger battle came, having a blocked aeorta and barely functioning kidneys coupled with hemmoraging in my lungs.

God decided to give me a Third Chance at life. Despite an expected death I was granted more time to live and pursue my dreams.

This blog is a place where I will share struggles and victories along my life path and hopefully some wisdom I have learned that can encourage those who read it.
